Word Table of Contents displays 3 for all pages
I have a 100 page research document. The Table of Contents (TOC) lists page numbers to 3 heading levels and there is no problem with that. I upload to a university website for my professor to review. And she reviews and posts to another website or emails to two other professors. When those professors look at it, they make a comment that all the page numbers in TOC, List of Tables, List of Figures - all pages display 3 only. This happens only in TOC, LOT and LOF and not in the actual pages. When I check the first website after I upload, they are all formatted correctly. Somehow, when it goes to the second site, all those page numbers in TOC displayed 3. This happened twice. The second time, all those page numbers in TOC displayed 2.
MS Word help is of no help. Has anyone run into this unstable page numbering problem in TOC? Thanks, RPR |
