Angry Page nos in footers - how to hide mid document

I'm having troubles hiding pages nos on 2 certains pages towards end of a long document, I then have one more page which needs footer with page no after those two. I have installed a section break but everytime delete after that break all page numbers disappear from the document.

You need Section breaks on both sides of the un-numbered Section.

When in the last Section's footer, uncheck the 'Same as previous' setting. Do the same for the 2nd-last Section. Then delete the page field from the 2nd-last Section.

For more on this, see Sections / Headers and Footers in Microsoft Word 2007-2013.

When you want a footer on all but one page, you can also use an IF field to check for the page number. See How to control the page numbering in a Word document.
