Office 2007 will not open .docx files
My new upgrade installation of 2007 Office Professional on Vista will not open existing .docx files. However it will open .doc files and will also create and open new .docx files that it generates. My old computer with Office 2003 and XP will open the same .docx files. Suggestions/help??Thanks,Ron

The best way for Windows users who have a version of Microsoft Office installed is to install the Microsoft compatibility pack for previous Office versions that adds .docx support in Microsoft Word.
