My latin text converts pagination to chinese letters and crashes
Hello, i have problem, pagination of my PhD thesis went to chinese letters when i opened it from my computer in my work. Than, when i open it, i can read few first pages, than letters goes confused in diagonal line and file crashes (picture attached). I don`t remember well but i think file was doing some repagination or something and it lasted longer, there was option for canceling that and i canceled it. I was working on that file from my external storage at that moment, as i was doing it for months. Does anyone have expirience about that crash and could it be saved? Thanks! |

You should never work on files stored on USB drives, especially Word files, as there is a significant risk of corruption if the USB drive is not removed safely. That is what appears to have happened in this case. You will need to restore the file from your last known good backup.
