How to index words in endnotes
I've just spent a good deal of time indexing items in endnotes and now discover they are not appearing in the updated index. The items are references in discursive notes (not mere citations) and should be indexed, according to Chicago Manual of Style.
Is there a way to do it? I've "marked" the items in the notes just the same way I marked them throughout the text. Indexed items in the text are fine, but not the endnotes. Help, please! Thank you, in advance, Claire |

SOLVED!! Not sure why this was not working earlier. I just rebuilt the index (yet again!) and this time it "took." Now it has all those items indexed in the endnotes.
