Text Box Active X Control
I'm using the text box Active X control on my forms to enable the user to provide detailed descriptions of the request being submitted. I've been looking for a good explanation of each of the properties associated with the Text Box Active X control so that I can assure it acts according to how I want the user to enter and then print the data. I'm using Word 2013. Any suggestions? |

Whoa. You are using an ActiveX control with 2013? Why? Generally speaking ActiveX controls are not used anymore.
This link may help with the properties: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...ffice.10).aspx |

ActiveX controls are (I think) pre-Word 97 technology. There may be reasons to use them in Word 2013, but I know of none.

Heck I did not even know there were ActiveX controls in 2013, but I guess they are there for existing older documents. DawnK2018, the reason why ActiveX are not used is that they are horribly unsecure. They blindly allow potentially malicious access. Unless you have a serious reason to use them (and I agree with Charles that I personally know of none), there are other, better, options.
