I've been trying to alter the default template for blank documents in Word 2007. I opened the Normal.dot file at \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\Normal.dot, made my changes and saved them.


While, changes to the font and border settings are reflected in all new documents, any change to the Page Color (which I set to black*) is not reflected. Any ideas on how to set the default page color?
