Default Force a content control to be only numbers (not using VBA)

Hello all,

I am making a form and want to have the form to have content controls. There are some content controls that I want to force to be numbers only and no alpha characters. I can't use legacy controls which I know has that functonality. Is there any way that I can do this?

It seems strange that this functionality is taken away from the content controls.

Thanks.

Why can you not use legacy form fields? (It is not a good idea to try mixing legacy form fields and content controls.)

I can' t use Legacy Fields because I have an excel file that will extract all the content control information into a spreadsheet and it does not work with the Legacy Fields. The order of the information in the excel document is very important and it skips columns that has Legacy Fields in it.

The link I gave you shows how to validate content controls.

Legacy formfields are designed for data extraction, unlike content controls.

Thanks Charles but I don't want to use VBA. I am thinking it is not possible at all.

Thanks for looking into it.
