just turned off the macro and tried the cut and paste and still having the same problem where after I paste the text the cursor drops to the next line instead of staying at the end of the posted text. Also just noted that when I click on the auto correct smart tag and select keep text only the cursor goes back to where it should be but then I lose my formatting. It seems like a catch 22 situation.
