Reviewing a W2010 template yesterday, I came upon a numbering anomaly in the headings. Levels 7 & 8 are for, respectively, appendices and attachments. Each has the relevant word preceding the number, and each begins its numbering with 1.
I discovered that, while the numbering works perfectly as long as the appendices precede attachments, as is standard, the numbering goes off if the order is reversed. For instance, if Attachment 1 precedes Appendix 1, the appendix headline begins its numbering with 2. However, even if two attachments precede it, the Appendix headline still begins with 2. Example attached. I can see no problem in the list style from which these are generated. Anyone? |
