Default Accept all only for a paragraph or page

Hi,

Is there a way to accept all the changes, but only on a certain page or paragraph?

I have to copy text from a site, & every time I smooth out the formatting after the copy, I'm left with tons of TC changes that don't need to be there.

I tried highlighting a parag. & accepting the "accept all" button, but that didn't work as it accepted all the changes in the entire document.

I hope there's a way to do this.

Thanks

Michelle

Hmm, I haven't used Word 2003 in a while, but is there no option (for example on the Reviewing toolbar) to accept changes in the selection?

Sorry, I just switched to 2010 & changed that in my profile.

So can I do it now?

Thanks

Take a look at the Review/Accept options. I'm pretty sure you can select a block of text before using Accept all.

I just tested the option and found that if I highlight the whole paragraph and select "Accept and Move to Next" (instead of the "Accept All" option) that it does accept those changes within the paragraph.

Try that out...

On the Review tab, clicking the arrow on the Accept button and then choosing Accept Change should also accept everything in the current selection.

Agreed. I understood the OP as saying she did that but, it did not work so I was only offering another solution.
