How to restrict Word 2007 to certain formatting only?
I'm afraid I don't know the correct jargon for what I want to achieve, but I can explain it.
What I want to do is create a restricted document which allows to user to perform the following actions, only: Save/Save As. Select one of the following styles: Normal, Title, Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3. Bold. Underline. Italic. Format as list. Insert table. Insert image from file. That is all. Is this possible? If so, how can I do it? Thanks in advance. |

I know how to do it with pre-ribbon versions, but not the ribbon. So I am useless when it comes to 2007. BTW, if you are restricting thing to some certain styles, then you should NOT allow manual formatting like bold, underline, italic.
That means they could bold Heading 1, or underline Heading 2. That does nit make sense. Hopefully one of the people familiar with the Ribbon may know how to do a similar thing. I assume that it is possible. |
