Maintain formatting while copying text from word, and pasting into a webpage.
Hello,
I have been applying to jobs online and many of the companies require that I copy and paste my resume into a textbox on their website, instead of just uploading the file. I have copied and tried pasting this several times on different sites and each time, the formatting changes, all of the information moves to the left margin, some text gets moved to a different spot, etc and I have to manually go in and change the text back to how it looked in the Word document. When copying and pasting I looked for paste special, however I only have a regular paste option. Is there any way I can maintain the format I have in Word, when pasting it into websites? Thanks. |

It all comes down to 2 things!
1) How you have created the resume in Word... Did you:
2) How the web site works Does it:
I have had the same issue, and so I now have three resumes:
