So which? Let's assume "remove unwanted formatted". But what does that mean? What makes it unwanted? How is this defined? Are you using styles? If not, the easiest answer is...start using styles. Word is designed around them for a reason. It makes formatting EASY.
So. If you are using styles, simply switch to a different one. If you are not, then again, more information is needed.
