Scroll bar problem with an embedded Excel table
I have embedded an Excel 2010 table in a Word 2010 doc and when people double click on the Excel spreadsheet to activate it, the Excel scroll bars appear and then they use these Excel scroll bars when they should be using just the Word vertical scroll bar and then when they deactivate the Excel table by clicking back in the Word doc, a part of the Excel table will be missing because they've scrolled out of the allocated area. When the Excel spreadsheet is activated the ribbon at the top becomes an Excel ribbon but the "File" tab is missing which is where I could normally go File>Options>Advanced>Show Horizontal / Vertical Scroll Bars. I can do this for the Word doc but this doesn't help me with the Excel table.
Thanks for any help offered. |

I have attached an image of the properties window from the 'developer' tab and there is a 'scrollarea' option. Does anyone know what I could enter in here to restrict the scroll area within the Excel table that is embedded within this Word 2010 doc? Or won't this help?
