Default Word 2010 table of content - font

hi

i have used three styles in my word 2010 document and am creating a table of content using built in TOC with modifications.

The second level of headings are all formatted as normal text (i.e. first letter capital and others non capital). However in the TOC this level appears as capital. I have checked TOC style and it is not set to "all caps". I have also ensured that none of the used styles have "automatically update" box ticked!

can someone help.

ta
