Default How to delete Grey Brackets in Word


Hi, I just received a document with Grey brackets (square). I can't seem to delete them manually and have also tried to uncheck the bookmark option. Any help would be much appreciated.

Maybe they are marks for editable ranges. If you're not interested in keeping the editable ranges, you can go to the Review tab, click Restrict Document. At the bottom of the pane, click Stop Protection. Then uncheck Allow only this type of editing...
