Need to reset default document
I don't know if I used the right terminology, but our Word has reset so the margins when you open up a brand new blank doc are all wacked out. We have office XP. I use it sometimes to print out the words to songs on 5"x8" cards and I set all the margins at 0 the the software resets them. I don't know if that's what reset the wierd margins on a letter size document. My wife uses Word occasionally and she will want it set the way it always was. I really don't want to be homeless, so can anyone tell me how to reset it. Thanks danny Jo |

To make it nice and simple:
You will notice that the save to location has changed, take a note of where this is for later. (Default - [C:\Documents and Settings\*YOUR*NAME*\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates])
Now you should be able to double-click (only use right-click > Open if you wish to edit the original document) the file, or link, to get your different margin sheet up - this will open as a new document, based on the template. Going back to the green above - if you have destroyed the original Template, then go to the place you noted and delete the Normal.dot file; when you next open Word, it will create a new one by default. |
