Custom caption list label lost in a new Word session
In one document, I named a new list label because none of the built-in labels was an exact fit. When I start a new Word session and open the document, however, that custom caption list label is not found in the caption dialog box, nor is it available in the cross-reference dialog box. The workaround I found is to create the new list label again in the caption dialog box, which will bring the label back.
Is this a known bug? Any fix for this? |

Unfortunately, caption labels are stored in the Normal template, which means that they are user-specific and machine-specific.
