Issues with Total # of Pages
I have a document that has a title page, and a table of contents (takes up a total of 3 pages) then the actual document begins. In the footer I want "page x of y". I want to know how to not include the first few pages in the "y". For example if the entire document (including the title page and TOC) is 9 pages, the first actual page should have page 1 of 6.
Also this document will have section breaks so that certain pages can be landscape (because of pictures/diagrams that need to be inserted). Please help!!! By the way I am using Windows XP with Office 2003 Last edited by zehra216; 07-02-2009 at 09:54 AM. Reason: Windows and Word Versions Added |

Section breaks will allow you to restart the numbering for each section
Add the numbering then choose the 'Format Page Number' icon (Headers and Footers - the one with the little hand) - here you can start from scratch, or continue from previous. |
