Weird typing error with u & o

Has anyone else had a problem when they are typing quickly in Word that you can end up with everything being underlined when you hit the o & u keys in quick succession? It happens often if I type the word "you" or "youth". Any way to turn off whatever is doing this?

If you inadvertently pressed the Ctrl key when pressing U, that would enable underline formatting.

That's not happening. It's a sequence starting with y. Y-o-u seems to trigger it and the ctrl key is not being pressed. That's why it's so weird. I thought of the ctrl key right away. Thanks, anyway.

See if there is a formatted AutoCorrect entry triggered by "you." Look at Tools | AutoCorrect Options | AutoCorrect.
