Word 2013 Fields not updating
I am at the end of my tether with Word 2013 and Fields not updating. When I right-click the Update Field button on a TOC in Word 2013 (or even F9), it appears to 'refresh' the view, but nothing is done to the TOC. There is absolutely no VBA code in the file - I stripped every last macro from the file, and from the normal.dot file, yet it seems the only way I can get it to refresh my TOC is to close and reopen the file. This isn't happening when the file is opened in Word 2010. It only started recently, which makes me suspect something went awry with an update. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Hopefully I'm not the only one. I've searched high and low for any answers, and it isn't just isolated to this computer. I work in a training centre, and it appears to be behaving the same on all 2013 machines. |

I am simply posting to be put in the queue to get updates on this thread. I haven't seen this and will check on it if I have time.
