can't restore word document
Word cannot open (normal) ...how do I restore because when I click on the file for permission it is whited out...get popup saying owner is editing and when I put read only I can't open either. I have windows 7 and IE 8.

Exit Word and rename the Normal template. Then does Word start normally the next time you try?
On Windows 7, the default location for Normal.dotm is at C:\Users\Your_Windows_User_Name_Here\AppData\Roami ng\Microsoft\Templates.
