I am trying to permanently highlight words found by using Find. As most will know, the search highlights the words found, but highlights disappear as soon as you click on any text.
I have tried several guides but none of them seem to work. They all revolve around doing a search with reading highlight on then doing a replace with Format=Highlight selected - or some such variation. No go Can anyone help? If you can, could you spell it out in simple steps? Thanks |

Partially fixed this in that when using replace, if you click in the box that actually has the replacement word in it, you can then choose a range of formatting options as described in various guides.
However, any option to highlight the words does NOT work. But you can have the word appear in a different font, colour or underlined etc. This is fine for me but weird it won't highlight the words..... |

Thanks for this tip. I have been using a change of colour for the font which works OK but this looks a better solution.
Well done! |
