![]() So I figured out my original question, but I still have this one: Last thing - is there anyway to autosum columns of a table that have no data in them? I know about the =SUM(ABOVE) formula but that only works if there is already data in the column. I want it to autosum as I type numbers in. Inserting an Excel spreadsheet messed up the formatting of the form so I want to avoid that. Last edited by SHC; 08-14-2013 at 08:55 AM. |

Well, the workaround is a bit old; maybe it doesn't work in newer versions of Word. Or maybe the document protection is causing trouble.
Could you share an example document for me to look at? You can post it as an attachment to a message in this thread.

I don't think I have the document protected in anyway, but all it essentially is a 2 column table outlining sources of income on the left side and the corresponding amount of income on the right. I can't attach it right now because i'm on a different computer and don't have access to the file
