Default wordml forms

Hey,

I have a word document that has several checkbox form fields in it. I

saved the document as xml and would like to transform the xml into
html. So far, I have everything working but the checkboxes. From what
I can tell, the value of a checkbox is stored in a node like this:

<w:fldData>/////wUAAAAUAAYAQwBoAGUAYwBrADEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAA
</w:fldData>

I've tried figureing out what changes when you check and uncheck boxes,
but I can't make sense of it. Any ideas?

Thanks
Daniel

ok, I believe that I've figured it out. This is a base64 encoded
string. I've seen other people on the net with this problem. I'll
post what else I find and when i finish the xslt to handle this i'll
post it too.

I am currently experiencing problems with this as well. I can see slight differences in the fldData between checked and unchecked status. I haven't found any official documentation on this yet; is this available? Or do I have to kind of reverse-engineer the base64 binary data do figure out how to check the checkbox?

If this is really how it's done: shame on Microsoft... open document format, indeed.
