Default Index grouping problem

Hello!

I am new here and relatively new to word indexing but it all worked relatively smoothly until now. I created a high number index entries in this form:
{ xe "Personen: Ehrlich Georg\, 1897 Wien/Österreich, 1966 Luzern/Schweiz\; Maler, Grafiker, Bildhauer"}

And while in one document this worked and my entries were nicely grouped into categories (eg Personen),

Personen
Adler Guido; 1855 Ivančice (Eibenschütz)/Tschechische Republik, 1941 Wien/Österreich; Musikwissenschaftler, Hochschullehrer, 44
Aldegrever Heinrich (Trippenmeker); um 1502 Paderborn/Deutschland, um 1555 Soest/Deutschland; Kupferstecher, Maler, Goldschmie, 44
Angeli Heinrich von; 1840 Sopron (Ödenburg)/Ungarn, 1924 Wien/Österreich; Maler, 54
Aslan Raoul (Aslan-Zumpart); 1886 Thessaloniki/Griechenland, 1958 Litzlberg/Österreich; Schauspieler, 37
Balboni; Venedig, Agent, 50
Ehrlich Georg; 1897 Wien/Österreich, 1966 Luzern/Schweiz; Maler, Grafiker, Bildhauer, 1, 2, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 34, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 42, 43, 44, 46, 47, 48, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58

in the second one this only worked for the first 60 pages of the document and afterwards each entry was marked separately as you can see below:

Personen
Ehrlich Georg; 1897 Wien/Österreich, 1966 Luzern/Schweiz; Maler, Grafiker, Bildhauer, 62
Personen
Floch Josef; 1894 Wien/Österreich, 1977 New York/USA; Maler, Grafiker, 62
Personen
Frappart (Ruault-Frappart) Frau; Wien, 62
Personen
Strauß Richard; 1864 München/Deutschland, 1949 Garmisch-Partenkirchen/Deutschland; Komponist, Dirigent, 62

So although the entry was one to one the same, i can not figure out what the problem could be. Has anyone had a similar problem? I would hate to have to start the whole process again, as the whole book has more than 200 pages. Can you think of anything that might influence the result?

Thank you very much in advance and excuse my lack of professional vocabulary.
