I have a text-based PDF file that has been converted into Word format and I need to have the text in it translated. The conversion is fine as it is, however when the text is translated the layout of the text (usually tabs and dodgy tables) will almost certainly go wrong!

I am thus looking for a way of wrapping the various paragraphs of text into text boxes or frames so that the text will essentially stay in the same position once it's been translated and I would only have to move/adjust the frame or text box slightly in order to keep the layout the same. Unfortunately I can only seem to find tutorials on how to turn frames/text boxes into plain text and not the other way round!!!

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Personally, if I had a more-or-less formatted Word document that had to be translated I'd extract all the text to a real plain-text .txt file and send it to the translator. When the translation came back, I'd copy/paste it back into the .doc/.docx myself. If the translation involved a language I couldn't read, I'd manually add a number to each paragraph.
