Default Word 2010 with Adobe addin

I'm trying to find a way to disable several options on the Adobe Acrobat ribbon for all users inside of Word:

Create & Attach to Email on the Adobe Acrobat ribbon for all users.
Mail Merge - Create and Send for Review
Create PDF & Run Action
Embed Flash (Under Insert)

Any help/advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know of a way to customize a ribbon created by an Adobe add-in. You will have to rethink your strategy...

The only way I found was to set the Acrobat PDF Maker option for Microsoft Office to 'this feature will not be available'. That removes the entire Adobe add-in in Word.

Otherwise, you could ask Adobe for instructions on how to modify their Add-In. A starting place for Ribbon modification is Customize the Ribbon (It doesn't take rocket science).

I do have a modification of my own that removes a number of options from the built-in Reviewing tab. It would depend on how Adobe makes the Ribbon Add-In. Another resource I use is the book RibbonX: Customizing the Office 2007 Ribbon by Robert Martin, Ken Puls, and Theresa Hennig.
