Default Spell checker in Word protected forms

I have created a number of form templates in Word 2003 with protected fields. I never gave much thought to spell checking but now one of our staff, who is dyslexic, has pointed out that she cannot use spell checker on the form as the option is greyed out.

I am assuming that spellchecker is lost once protection is put on the form?

There is a macro that works around this issue. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/...ProtectDoc.htm.

Where can I find some assistance for getting this macro to work properly? While the macro appears to be comprehensive, I'm obviously not doing something for it work in the "protected" form field document. Thanks, Dennis

Note that when using the macro, you should leave your form unprotected, and let the macro take care of the protecting/unprotecting. Does that improve things?
