Hi there
I have a whole lot of transcribed letters in ms Word and wish to produce an index:- Name, Address and Date for all the letters Is there an easy way to do this? Bob M |

One possibility: if you use separate styles for lines of text you want to treat as Name, Address and Date you should be able to use a custom Table of Contents.

Are these all in one document, or are there a number of documents?
As eNGiNe suggests, there needs to be some distinquishing factors for the Name, Address and Date. Are they in fields perhaps. |
