Default drop down menu @ a misspelled word does not have "Add to dictionary" option

The drop down menu @ a misspelled word does not have "Add to dictionary" option. It stopped being there awhile ago I've searched but have not found this specific problem. It does not appear unlike those who's are dimmed and not functioning. It is not there!
