How can one make the Picture Tools ribbon permanent?

I know how to make it appear and disappear. I don't want to know how to do that. I know how to make it minimize - I don't want to do that. I want the picture tools ribbon to stay on my screen *each* and *every* time I open Word. I don't even care if it remains that flamin' "Study in Rose Palette" that's there by default.

I just want the ribbon. All the time. Whether or not I have clicked on a picture.

Call me goofy (which by now, most of my co-worker's do); call me silly, call me just unable to fathom why Microsoft UI designers would be allowed to unleash a travesty of user experience like this on an unwitting (and unwilling) public in what appears to be a willy (dare I say) nilly manner - and I'll answer to them all. Call me old fashioned. You can also call me medicated, because just writing about this makes my head and my heart bow low before the gods of Redmond. But know this, goR, know this; there are other choices out there, oh yes there are. Don't think I don't know it and don't think I won't try 'em....go ahead, dare me. Dare me, I say! I'm about a keystroke and a half from converting the homepage of every browser in this joint to point to openoffice.org. I've got one foot in openoffice and the other on a banana peel, so let's just take this nice and slow, shall we? Just tell me how I can make that mother-crunchin' "Picture Tools" ribbon permanent, and nobody has to go without chocolate today. Yeah, I said it. And I meant it too!

Default

Right click on your Ribbon and choose to "Customize the Ribbon"

Choose commands from: All tabs

Under Picture you will see Format. Select that and then click on the Add button.

Then move its position to above the Home tab. It will now be on the screen each time you start Word.

OK
