![]() How do I get rid of the large font year at the top of the Motion cover page without getting rid of the date near the bottom of the cover page? Thanks |

What Motion cover page do you refer to?

Motion is one of Word 2010's built-in building blocks that gives a consistent look to the cover page and headers and footers. Click Insert, then Cover Page to see the choices, including Motion. Motion is the look I prefer for my document, except for the year in big font near the top of the cover page.

That tells you how much I use all aspects of Word!
![]() Now, after looking at it, I simply highlighted the large font (year) and deleted it (leaving the pilcrow symbol in place). When doing so, it did not delete the date area at the bottom (I clicked on the area and selected the date and it shows correctly). |
