Page #'s go to header
After years of using MS 3 I suddenly somehow cannot get page numbers in the right place. When I place numbers on a page top right, the number goes up to the very edge of the page, into the header and they don't print out. Any solutions greatly appreciated.
* OK, I took screen shots of the setup tabs in both a good page and a "bad" page and looked for different info in tabs. Seems that the "corrupted" page had in Layout 0" and 0" in header/footer boxes. Very proud of myself I hope it's right. I think this occured when I got some editing from someone whose margins were all over the place. All is good. |

Picky point. Word 3 was back in the (earlier) '90s.
Glad you figured it out. Here's the advanced paper: How to control the page numbering in a Word document |
