I have an Excel database which has hyperlinks to Word docs with the layout in landscape. Some the information goes across two pages and is easier understood in full screen reading. Is it possible when the doc is open, that it automatically is in full screen reading and closes the doc with one action using the X.?
Would I require a macro for this? If so can anyone help? Thanks freebee2 |

Open the word document,
Press Ctrl+F11 to open VBA Explorer In the left hand menu double-click 'This Document' Paste the following code in the new code window Save and close, then give it a go If it asks you to allow macros, go look here, at the bottom of the page, about Digitally Signing a documnt. Code:
Private Sub Document_Open() ActiveWindow.View.ReadingLayout = Not ActiveWindow.View.ReadingLayout End Sub |

Thanks Bird!
I tried your macro last night, it worked perfectly. Thanks again, Freebee2 |
