Word 2003 - printing multi-page booklets
Hi,
I'm trying to print a document with 8 pages into an A5 booklet in Word 2003, however I'm not sure I'm doing it correctly. Can anyone tell me the steps to go through? I've tried using the "book fold" option in Page Setup, however when I click ok and the pages resize, my header image and text remain the same size, and so it carries over dozens of pages, rather than simply scaling the text/images. I played about with the settings and managed to get it to scale everything - this seemed to work, except when I printed the document it printed each 4 pages as separate booklets - so page 1-4 were one booklet, 5-8 were another booklet etc. Where am I going wrong? I'm used to doing it on a different printer, where I don't change the Word settings, I just select "booklet" in my printer properties and it does everything for me. |

I think I may have found the issue. When I clicked "book fold" on the existing document it didn't display correctly, but when I set up a new document, set up as book fold and then copy and paste the contents of the existing document across, it seems to display it correctly.
I'll try printing that way, but if someone could confirm whether I'm doing the right thing I'd appreciate it |
