Default 4-up on 11x17 landscape paper for each word document

I'm trying to send in an order for ups to print some documents for me. Though we I sent them the email they told me something I didn't quite understand. Could anyone please help me?

Thank you for your order. Unfortunately, the document needs significant formatting. Please put your images 4-up on 11x17 landscape paper for each word document. These documents then need to be combined into one file with 2 pages. When we print the front and back sides should be perfectly aligned so that when we cut – the cutting is placed in same position for front and back side of paper. The document must be ready to print and cut. Please give us one day to finish the print & cut job for you. If we have to format, we will need more time and formatting charges will apply to minimum of $25.00.

Hi, Kyu. It's a little difficult to help without more info, but perhaps this will help you figure the rest out for yourself.

I take it that the lab or printing service is offering to print your photos with a message or something on the back. It appears from your post that you are not simply submitting your image files as is typical when printing photos, but that you already have them in a Word document and have, perhaps, asked them to put certain info on the back of each image. What the vendor is telling you, is that he or she cannot align the backs and fronts without significant work, and is suggesting that you do it.

Here's my suggestion:

The document I have attached has identical tables on two, 11x17 landscape (horizontal) pages, except that the table on the second page is set to center text in each cell. Each cell is 5"x3.3". Paste your images into the table cells in the table on page one, and the corresponding text into the table cells on page two. If you need more tables, save your document as MyPhotos1 and close it. The open the blank one and continue.

Hope this helps.

Best,
Ulodesk
