Under the Page Layout is the line numbers tab with which I have tried dozens of times in different ways to add line numbers to two Word lists with no results. One is a 7 page single column; the other is a two column 4 page.
Also, upon clicking line numbers, normally the 'suppress current paragraph' is highlighted and I find no means of changing it. Entering 'add line numbers' [and variations thereof] on Word Help gives everything but that. Advise appreciated. |

If the content is inside a table, line numbering will apply to the paragraph containing the table, not to the paragraphs inside table cells, unfortunately.
