Convert customised endnotes to automatic
Hello,
I have a long document (a thesis) with over 50 endnotes, all of which were added as Custom Marks. I now have to add a couple of extra endnotes somewhere near the beginning of the document and don't want to have to redo every note manually. Is there any way to convert all endnotes from custom to automatic?? I have searched the web and haven;t been able to come up with anything. I'd really appreciate any advice. Thanks. |

Thanks for this.
However, the macro install procedure on the website seems to be for a PC running microsoft? I have a Macbook, Mac OSX 10.6.8, with Word for Mac 2011. Is there anywhere I can find the procedure for my purposes? Thanks again. |

Mac Word 2011 supports vba and I would expect the same code to work on it. There is nothing Windows-specific in the code.

Thank you. And now most of my macro tabs are greyed out, including Create macro! I don't suppose you would know why this might be?
Thanks again. |

Probably because your macro security settings are too high.
