Table of contents after formatting!
I have been having issues with getting the table of contents to work after I have formatted a document. The original problem was keeping the format of a document after it was emailed and I needed to transfer it to word. I switched the original document to normal in the styles tab. This kept the original format of the document, but when I go to make a table of contents and change a title to heading 1 it bumps the data underneath the heading to a new sheet. On one document subtitle style worked and made the TOC, but on another document it said there was no info for the TOC. I want to keep the original format of a document and be able to make a TOC. |

I figured it out! I had to modify the heading to have no spacing before or after and set the page break to before!
