Post Form Templates

Hello,

I am trying to create a fillable template.

This template would be used for a number of products (1-100), each requring its own information box. I would like the product information box (which would need to be completed for each individual product) to repeat based on the number of products.

For example, if one wants to enter data about four products, the product information portion of the fillable form would appear four times.

I would like to start the document with.
Number of Products "ENTER NUMBER OF PRODUCTS HERE"
PRODUCT INROMATION (corresponds to the number of products entered above). This would be a fillable chart that repeats multiple times based on the input above.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure if this is even possible in word, if you are aware of a better method of preparing a form like this, please let me know.

Thanks. PO1

This is certainly possible but is not a minor undertaking. You probably would want to start with a UserForm (a custom dialog box) to get basic information and construct your form, possibly from Building Blocks (AutoText) which has the areas you want filled in for each item.

This requires at least a willingness to dabble with vba and some understanding of Word's protected form structure.

Making Forms with Microsoft Word
Create a Simple Userform

Assuming that you are not a vba programmer and that you do not regularly manipulate Word protected forms with vba, and that you have other work to do, you are probably looking at a project that, with help and advice, will take more than 80 hours. You may just want to hire someone to do it (not me). Graham Mayor, the guy who wrote the UserForm article, might be available.
