Default savedate field, locale settings and style language

My Footer style is set to Language: English UK, but it looks to me as though the [corporate, immutable] locale settings get the upper hand – with the result that the month-name is shown in Dutch. Can I override this? Here's the field definition.
Code:
SAVEDATE \@ "d MMMM yy" \* MERGEFORMAT
