i used to have dictionary feature online for the pervious pc with windows 7. but the hard drive went bad so i got a new pc with windows 8.
i'm not sure what configuration i did before to get dictionary feature online. anyone know what you need to do to turn on dictionary feature in words 2003 for windows 8? thanks. |

For Office 2003, you should be able to start Setup (from Control Panel) and install the proofing tools.

nevermind, i found a somewhat obvious solution. just need an update/reinstall and took the 2nd time.

Running setup, without uninstalling, would suffice. Look for an item called proofing tools. (I haven't used Office 2003 in a while; otherwise I would be more specific of course.)
