When I update captions in Word, it brings all the captions up to the top of the page (and inserts them in the list of captions {figures}). They are also still in there original spot, but there is a second copy at the top. I have to go though and delete all the pictures at the top of the page. Does anyone know how I can stop this from happening?
Thanks, |

Does this happen with all Word documents containing captions, or only with one?

This got me thinking that it must see the picture as part of the caption. So then I made sure to go down a line (hit enter) before inserting the picture. Then I re-inserted the table of figures and it did not include the pictures. So, I guess your question helped me solve my problem. Thanks! |
