Word Protection & Editing
Hi guys
I am working on a project whereas we only want users to edit certain parts of the document. It is a report whereas they will be using a heirarchy set up. So i have the document set up so that it is protected, and users have access to text boxes, which also automatically sets up the bullets e.g 1: Heading 1a: sub heading however as the doc is protected, iv no access to the features : eg bullets, numbering, indents If i want to add a 1.a.1 - An inner heading, it does not let me. it automatically tabs over to the next text box. Is there any way of fixing this? so that you can unprotect some of the features any help will be greatly appreciated |

Is this forms protection? What you can do is add section breaks and leave one or more sections unprotected. In those areas, you can format text by using the style gallery on the Home tab.
