Default Same Style for all Heading Levels

I want to apply the same style for all heading levels.

How do I do that?

Thanks.

So why not use the same Heading Style throughout?

If you want them different levels, you can change the formatting of the styles you use so they all look the same.

Why use Microsoft Word’s built-in heading styles?

Is there a way to automatically apply the same style for all of them? Or do I really have to manually edit each of them?

You could use Find/Replace to change all instances of Heading 2, for example, to Heading 1. If you want to change the Heading 2 Style to look like the Heading 1 Style, though, that can only be done by modifying the Heading 2 Style definition.
