Using Insert Caption/List of figures
Hi guys,
Got a massive project due in on Monday and spent last three hours trying to figure out this problem. Basically I have loads of pictures and used the 'insert caption' option to make figure legends. All looking good However, when i choose 'insert list of figures' option, the figures are not in order. For example, there is Figure 6 and 7 with the same caption and Figure 26 is missing (but the picture is actually Figure 27 - thus i somehow lost Figure 26 caption). Is there a way to see the database of figures and edit accordingly? many thx for reading this |

Try updating the document's referencing, via Ctrl-A, F9. of course, if figures 6 and 7 have the same caption text (not numbers), only you can change that.

Many thanks.
Turns out I had a figure legend hidden behind a picture which ruined the order! |
