Got a massive project due in on Monday and spent last three hours trying to figure out this problem.

Basically I have loads of pictures and used the 'insert caption' option to make figure legends. All looking good

However, when i choose 'insert list of figures' option, the figures are not in order. For example, there is Figure 6 and 7 with the same caption and Figure 26 is missing (but the picture is actually Figure 27 - thus i somehow lost Figure 26 caption).

Is there a way to see the database of figures and edit accordingly?
