How do I get this header?
I am doing a project and I am trying to get my work to look like the piece in the pics
In the attachment you will see a horizontal line at the top with the data on the corresponding chapter i.e. "introduction and rationale for the study" is there an automatic way for word to do this? or will i have to do this manually? thanks bammap.jpg |

Check what you can do with the Styleref field –I only learnt about it recently, thanks to asking a similar question in the forum ;-}

As eNGiNe suggests, you can achieve the desired result via STYLEREF fields, though the convertion to title case and the incorporation of two paragraphs means it's not straightforward. The bottom border adds another twist, too.
See attached for an implementation

It's just an underlined tab character - using the same right tab-stop as the line above.
